PAINTER SKILLS

Painting combines manual work with a high level of technical and creative skills with an eye for detail. Painting requires the ability to read blueprints/instructions and the ability to examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary. They prepare worksites with scaffolding and coverings as well as prepping walls and other surfaces for painting. They must know what specific kind and how much paint a job will require. 

Painters can work on either the exterior or interior of different types of buildings and work with many different media. Painting professions can range from commercial, residential and industrial.
